NEC 220.82 optional feeder and service load calculations to verify your panel can handle the new load.

Commercial Load Calcs

NEC 220.87 load calculations utilizing 30-day demand meter data for commercial facilities.

PE Stamps (Optional)

Professional Engineering wet or digital stamps for load calcs when required by strict jurisdictions.

Available EV Design Packages:

  • Residential Design Only: Installer or Electrician provides their own load calculations.
  • Residential Design + Load Calcs: Prepared by us, Master Electrician signs off.
  • Residential Design + Load Calcs (PE Stamped): Stamped by our Electrical Professional Engineer.
  • Commercial Design: Per charger pricing, includes PE stamped load calculations.

Service Upgrade Limits

Please note the following constraints regarding electrical infrastructure:

  • Main Panel Upgrades (MPU): If our load calculations determine an MPU is required, it is the installer's responsibility to manage the utility coordination.
  • Permit and AHJ submission fees are not included in drafting costs.

Jurisdictional Exclusions

We do NOT provide drafting or load calculations for the following jurisdictions under any circumstances:

  • APS and SRP in Arizona
  • City of Peoria, AZ
  • City of Phoenix, AZ
  • Los Angeles County (LABD), CA
  • City of Rochelle, NY

Please verify your AHJ and utility jurisdiction before submitting an order.

Are you a Homeowner (DIY)?

If you are submitting your own EV charger or solar project, Homeowners are subject to a mandatory $300 development fee. This covers layout preparation, equipment compatibility advising, and code compliance research. Electricians, Installers, Operations Managers, and EPCs are exempt from this fee.
