We do: produce the stamped-where-required drawing set your permit application needs, drawn to the adopted code cycle, the AHJ’s submittal format, and the serving utility’s interconnection requirements. We respond to plan review comments and revise the set under the revision window.
You do: file the application, hold the AHJ account, carry the contractor licensing, and own the relationship with the reviewer and the inspector. Permit filing is licensed work tied to the contractor of record, and it belongs on your side of the line.

Why the jurisdiction changes the drawing
Permit design is jurisdiction-specific work, and that is the whole reason it can’t be templated. Three things move independently:
The adopted code cycle. Cities adopt the NEC and the I-codes on their own ordinances and schedules, so neighbouring jurisdictions routinely sit on different editions. Label schedules and disconnect requirements change between cycles, which is why a set that cleared one city is not automatically drawn for the next one.
The AHJ’s submittal format. Some jurisdictions publish information bulletins with explicit triggers for engineered drawings; others don’t publish anything and the requirement surfaces as a plan review comment.
The serving utility. Interconnection is a separate track from the building permit, and the utility’s disconnect and metering rules land directly on the site plan and the single-line diagram.
